Cosplay 2011: It's On, Baby!

Cosplay Weekend, 2011 is on! October 15th, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

So, here's a rundown on what's happening.

Best In Costume: A contest in 3 rounds.

Round 1: 12:00
Round 2: 1:00
Round 3: 2:00
*Through eliminations, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner will be chosen and announced at the end of Round 3.
*Sign up fee is $2 (we're on a budget too, so cough it up.)
*Participants must sign up through email to the following address.

Please include your name and character. I will reply with your assigned number which you can pick up the day of the contest.
Cut-off date for entry is October 10th.
*Costumes may run the gamut: I don't care who you're cosplaying as, so long as you're having a good time.
*Costumes must be child friendly: There will be kiddies around, ladies and gents. Butts and boobs must be covered!

Fan Art Free-For-All: Submit your best work within the time limit to win.
-Round 1: 2:30
-Round 2: 3:45
*Contestants must bring their own supplies: I'm a book store; I don't have that kind of stuff lying around.
*Winners will be announced at the end of each Trial.

Lilly's Game Den: Time to whip out some epic D&D action.

*Bring your kit and come out to play. The Den at Lilly Torte is furnished with sofas, tables and chairs... and floor space. While it's certainly the ideal spot for some epic D&D, there's definitely room to pop a squat with your PSP or DS.

Jess' Armoury: Kick some @ss with Steampunk Weaponry.
Open... until she's sold out.

This thing has the potential to be epic; but it can't happen without you and twelve of your friends. Powder Springs has never seen anything like this; so let's make an impression and have a h#ll of a good time doing it!
